Before I Die I Want to...

Today was an all around great day.

I was so excited to shoot with Erica Rae Perry today. We had not been able to work together in almost a year. Needless to say I was so excited she is shooting again. I also had the pleasure of getting to work with Model Maddie Randolph Vitale. I have been wanting to work with her for so long!
When Erica told me she was the model I started jumping up and down with excitement. I just got back from The Makeup Show in LA and I have all kinds of new toys to play with on models!!

Erica and Maddie arrived around 11:30 and we discussed the concept. Erica had this really cute vintage dress we used from Time Warp (Baton Rouge). It was a baby doll style vintage dress. She also brought some interesting fur accessories. A fur hat and a fur mitt purse thing. Erica wanted an extremely natural almost sickly look on Maddie. As much as I love doing natural beautiful skin I didn't get to play with a lot of my new products...
However, The skin looked flawless.
I used HD Makeup Forever foundations in #110 applied with a wide paddle foundation brush to give Maddie an over all more fair skin look.
I used Benefit -High Beam and Mac-Sundrops to highlight the cheeks.
i also used Benefit-Hula bronzer to achieve a matte contour.
This look was all about flawless HD sculpted skin.

We ended up shooting at this really pretty location on Poydrus St. New Orleans. Honestly, none of use knew the name of it. I will post the location later.

After getting a few shots we moved to a recent Art Mural on Marigny St. New Orleans.

This was a really cool experience for me.
Candy Chang created this Art Mural painted completely black with the words "Before I die I want to..." Spray painted in perfect letters very large on the top left corner then she proceeded to make several spaces for the general public to come by and write what they want to do before they die..

She even provided little Chalk holders full of chalk for everyone to get creative and to have an opportunity.

While Erica, Maddie and I admired the wall, we met Kristins Kassen. She ended up being the assistant for Candy Chang. She was really sweet and cool. She took a photo for us and told us a little bit more about the wall. She said within the first hour the wall was filled up. She explained she had just washed it the previous day and she was already coming back to re-wash it so other people would have an opportunity to write their dreams.

This was really cool. Way to go Candy Chang and team!

After a long day of shooting, We were all craving Wendy's NEW Sea Salt fries!

While enjoying lunch at Wendy's a guy about our age walked in to Wendy's in a Best Buy uniform. I made a bet with Erica that if I could get him to to give me his name tag she would have to surrender her french fries.

We ended up taking a picture with our Best Buy new friend "Matt"

I did get the name tag!

In the meantime, Enjoy one Sneak Peak shot from today!
