Lux Aeterna Sponsa

I received a call from Nonney with Atelier NOLA a few days before this shoot she explained to me she was looking for a dated vogue look. She sent me the picture on the left for inspiration of the makeup. On the right you will see the makeup I did. I put a modern twist on the look. What do ya think?

Underwater Maternity Shoot

I originally met Amanda Causey when I did her makeup for her Baby shower. She was absolutely stunning. She really glowed!

A few weeks later Kaylynn approached me with the idea of doing an underwater maternity shoot. I was so intrigued I had to be a part of this!

I finally have proof that my makeup is waterproof!

These shots are amazing. We shot these pictures in November when the weather was still really cold. Someone's friend of a friend of a friend let us barrow their heated pool. They kept the heater on for two days straight.

Kaylynn bought this really cool contraption to put her camera in so she could bring it under water.

I was paranoid when she put the camera underwater. Thank god that thing worked that's expensive equipment!

I will post a video as well that I took at this shot.

Check out the great shots!

Mandie Loiselle

Mandy Loiselle, What a cool chick! She flew in from New Hampshire to shoot with M. Prophet (Max) I was honored to be asked to do the Makeup for Mandy. I had a blast thanks again guys!

Check out some behind the scenes shots too!

Family of Four

I had the pleasure of working with Tate Tullier again while he was shooting Stacey Breaux's Adorable Family of Four.

Stacey is a so stunning and she has the cutest children ever. I couldn't stop telling her how adorable her children are!

Take a look at how beautiful she looks and how cute her Family of Four is!

Once Upon a Time

Amelie G October Fairy Tale Issue

This was a really exciting shoot. I can honestly I worked with one of the most talented group of people I have in a long time. The Cover Shoot "Once Upon a Time" featured a very talented team - photographer Jen LeBlanc, Model Bliss Alexis Kelley, Stylist Katie Dumestre, Makeup Artist Lauren Kattan (me), and Hair Stylist Courtney Bradberry!! Articles on Matthew Holdren Woodworking, Fashion designer Meghann Harney and more!

The shoot was non-stop in the middle of no where on the Westbank, it rained all day on and off. The shoot was planned for all the shots to be outside. We had to run with the equipment in and out of the rain. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.

The shoot lasted almost 9 hours but the results were worth it! Check it out!

Mock Bridal shoot

I was interested in building my bridal portfolio. I have been buying random wedding dresses from thrift stores to use for shoots etc.

One afternoon, I got together with all my favorite ladies, Kaylynn Clark, Marina Keaton, Jen Leblanc and Maegan Allen.

We had a blast shooting. Kaylynn shot some absolutely phenomenal shots.

Marina looked stunning. I couldn't get over how much she resembled Julia Roberts.
Jen looked so beautiful and classic.
I learned that Maegan rocks red lipstick!

Sarah Miller was shot on a different day. She wore the most beautiful wedding dress! I loved it!

Live Model

I went to a Business card exchange a few months ago hosted by Shervisa Lavie' Sullivan. It was a Baton Rouge networking exchange for everyone in the industry.

I decided to have a live model to do half beauty and half special fx. Most of this was simply because I needed to practice special fx.

Teri was a sport and tagged along as my model. I met a lot of really cool and talented people. I had a lot of fun. Teri got me some great pictures!

A recent shoot with Meagan Thierry and Kaylynn Marie Photography!

This was a shot from a shoot that Kaylynn and I did with Model: Meagan Thierry.
It was a lot of fun we had Erica Perry there to assist with holding the lights. It was super windy that day.

Breathless Boudoir

I have worked with Breathless Boudoir countless times, I have always found this business to be incredibly professional and personable. I would recommend Breathless Boudoir to anyone interested in a tasteful, classy, experience.

My Pride and Joy

I bought "Fat Max" sometime in 2009. I had started to accumulate so much product and I had no where to put it. I went to Home Depot and found Fat Max. It was love at first sight! I immediately went to Walmart and bought seat cushions to line Fat Max with to keep my products safe.

I have been using Fat Max ever since. Every time I work with a new model or photographer I ask them to write something nice on Fat Max about our experiences..
My box is starting to get full of names, which is exciting!

My pride and Joy :)

Zebra

These were some fun shots that Erica Rae Perry shot.
I had just bought Chroma Cakes from MAC and I wanted to play with them. I think it was a spur of the moment kind of shoot.

My two friends Kim, Florence and Kaylynn were hanging out at the house so we made them models!

Check it out!
